"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion.
I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate.
All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.
Time to die."
Perhaps the most famous death scene in the history of cinema - Roy Batty's (Rutger Hauer) monologue moments after he saves the life of the Blade Runner (Rick Deckard played by Harrison Ford) whose mission was to kill him during the entire film. According to Rutger Hauer he tightened the original lines and added a bit of poetry with the "tears in rain" during filming. The final act of Blade Runner (directed by Ridley Scott) is rich with symbolism, ambience, incredible music by Vangelis, remains one of my favorite moments in any film to date.
