The Siberian flying squirrel (Pteromys volans) is an Old World flying squirrel with a range from the Baltic Sea in the west to the Pacific Coast in the east. With their large eyes and dense gray and white fur with black trim, they are one of the cutest little critters in existence. My thanks again to the Ceramic Art Studio and Shop.

Lion and Lamb Cup

The symbolism of the Lion and the Lamb as the dualistic aspect of Jesus Christ has been captured by many artists through the centuries. And thanks to a request by @hartvansteen.nl on Instagram, I am now able to add to the collection of artwork that uses this motif. Incidentally, there is no direct mention in the Bible of a "lion and lamb" other than Isaiah 35:9 which actually mentions "the wolf and the lamb" and a lion a little later on. My thanks again to the Ceramic Art Studio and Shop.
