Siberian Chipmunk Oil Diffuser
- Details
- Category: Sculptures

The Siberian chipmunk (Eutamias sibiricus) is a species that is native to parts of northern Asia including China, Russia, Korea, and northern Japan. Besides just being cute as hell, they also have an average lifespan of 6 to 10 years, making them very popular within the pet industry. For my piece, two chipmunks are watching over their tree trunk cache which also doubles as candle-lit oil diffuser. My thanks again to the Ceramic Art Studio and Shop.

Falkor and Atreyu (The Neverending Story)

"Never give up, and good luck will find you."
The Neverending Story was release in 1984, and remains one of my favorite films to this day. Based on the novel by Michael Ende and directed by Wolfgang Petersen, it was the most expensive film made in Germany at the time. The ultra catchy theme of the film, sung by Limahl is like a time portal to the 80's. My piece is based on the scene where Atreyu is riding Falkor the luck dragon in their quest to find the cure for the beautiful Empress. My thanks again to the Ceramic Art Studio and Shop.

The Little Mermaid

The Little Mermaid was published by Hans Christian Andersen in 1837. In 1913, Edvard Eriksen was commissioned to sculpt the Little Mermaid. This famous statue depicts the moment her transformation begins into a human form. My sculpture is inspired by Eriksen's timeless masterpiece and captures her perhaps moments before her transformation as her scales have dissolved into skin.
