This functional sculpture was made in two pieces so that the rabbit doe and bunny can be displayed by itself or as a centerpiece for the plate which was designed suitably for cookies or sushi. My thanks again to the Ceramic Art Studio and Shop.

This is my fourth dolphin themed piece after the Emerald Dolphin, Ceramic Sea Pod, and Killer Whale Orca K-38 Comet (since killer whales are technically dolphins). My thanks again to the Ceramic Art Studio and Shop.

"I am inevitable."
Thanos the philosopher - requested by the winning bidder on a charity auction I donated my artistic services to. I had planned to make Thanos at some point, but that point came much sooner than I had anticipated. Perhaps Thanos truly is inevitable. My thanks again to the Ceramic Art Studio and Shop.

The Korean Crow-Tit (Baepsae 뱁새), is a type of vinous-throated parrotbill (Sinosuthora webbiana) that basically resembles a round, fluffy white cotton ball with a long thin tail. They are quite possibly the cutest birds on the planet. This is a variation on another sparrow themed jewelry dish I made last year. My thanks again to the Ceramic Art Studio and Shop.

The Greek mythological hero Heracles (Hercules in Roman mythology) was born Alcaeus but later renamed Hera-cles to mollify the goddess Hera who despised him for being the illegitimate product of her husband Zeus's affair. Incidentally, Hera unwittingly partially gave Heracles his superhuman strength by nursing him with divine milk as a baby, thanks to Athena's trickery. This incident is also the amusing (and hilarious) origin story of the Milky Way. Heracles is famous for his twelve labours, the first of which was to slay the Nemean Lion, a beast with impenetrable skin which Heracles conquered by beating it with his club and choking with a bear hug. Heracles later used its hide as his iconic cloak. The composition of my piece is based on the relief by Philippe-Laurent Roland at the Louvre. My thanks again to the Ceramic Art Studio and Shop.
