Camellias are a genus of flowering plants in the family Theaceae. They are found in eastern and southern Asia, from the Himalayas east to Japan and Indonesia. There are 100–300 described species, with some controversy over the exact number. There are also around 3,000 hybrids. Camellias are famous throughout East Asia; they are known as cháhuā (茶花, 'tea flower') in Chinese, tsubaki (椿) in Japanese, dongbaek-kkot (동백꽃) in Korean, and as hoa trà or hoa chè in Vietnamese. This one was a commission to be given as a wedding gift. My thanks again to the Ceramic Art Studio and Shop.

Magpies are birds of the Corvidae (crow) family. The black and white Eurasian magpie is widely considered one of the most intelligent animals in the world and one of only a few non-mammal species able to recognize itself in a mirror test. In Korea, the magpie is celebrated as "a bird of great good fortune, of sturdy spirit and a provider of prosperity and development". My thanks again to the Ceramic Art Studio and Shop.

The red fox (Vulpes vulpes) is the largest of the true foxes and one of the most widely distributed members of the order Carnivora, being present across the entire Northern Hemisphere from the Arctic Circle to North Africa, North America and Eurasia. I based my model on stock photos of foxes in snow. My thanks again to the Ceramic Art Studio and Shop.

"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion.
I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate.
All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.
Time to die."
Perhaps the most famous death scene in the history of cinema - Roy Batty's (Rutger Hauer) monologue moments after he saves the life of the Blade Runner (Rick Deckard played by Harrison Ford) whose mission was to kill him during the entire film. According to Rutger Hauer he tightened the original lines and added a bit of poetry with the "tears in rain" during filming. The final act of Blade Runner (directed by Ridley Scott) is rich with symbolism, ambience, incredible music by Vangelis, remains one of my favorite moments in any film to date. Pomeranians are named for the Pomerania region in north-west Poland and north-east Germany in Central Europe and were bred as toy dogs. They come in a variety of colors, even black and white like this one from our neighborhood. My thanks again to the Ceramic Art Studio and Shop.
